First-Ever Networking Event Targets Young Professionals

A wardrobe coach and personal stylist who has dished out advice on The Rachael Ray Show, NBC 5 and WCIU's "You  amp; Me This Morning" will help headline a first-ever Harper College networking event geared specifically toward young professionals.

The inaugural event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 22 at the Wojcik Conference Center on the College's main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine.

"We know the northwest suburbs are full of young professionals doing great work and leading impressively impactful lives. This event offers them a chance to actually meet each other and, hopefully, form beneficial relationships," says Dane Walkington of the College's Educational Foundation. "Harper's mission is to serve the community, and we hope this event will be a significant first step in reaching this population and determining how we can all work together."

Nicole Crimaldi, a networking specialist and founder of MCG Media, Inc., will join image consultant Tamika Martell-Price, founder of A-line Chicago: Wardrobe Coaching  amp; Personal Shopping, as featured guest speakers at the event.

Crimaldi's firm specializes in search engine optimization and social media; she also runs MsCareerGirl.com, a career blog for young professional women. Martell-Price focuses on finding style options that complement budgets, body types and busy lifestyles and present a professional image.

Registration is $15; light appetizers and refreshments will be served.

The event is sponsored by BMO Harris Bank.
