Harper to host free seminar on state budget crisis

Harper College will host a free presentation about the state of Illinois’ budget crisis and pension situation and their effects on individuals and businesses.
The event will take place Wednesday, May 25, at the Wojcik Conference Center on the College’s main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine. Registration and a networking breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. followed by the program from 8 to 9 a.m.
The program, “Seeking a Way Forward,” will feature Ralph Martire, executive director of the Center for Budget and Tax Accountability.
The event is presented by the Harper College Annuitants Association, Harper College Professional Advisors Committee and the Harper College Educational Foundation.
