Clay Guild holds annual pottery sale

Fall pottery saleJust in time for the holidays, the Clay Guild at Harper College will showcase one-of-a-kind clay pieces at its annual fall pottery sale.

Original items will range from plates, mugs and vases to wall décor, garden sculptures, jewelry and more.

The sale – which features professional art at bargain prices – runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, and Thursday, Dec. 1, in the main concourse of the Avanté Center on the College's main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine.

It is open to the public. Cash and personal checks will be accepted as payment.

Harper regularly offers credit courses and Continuing Education classes in ceramics. The programs draw a variety of students of all ages from art majors to community members looking to explore and expand their creativity.
