Forensic Science Associate in Applied Science Degree
This program is designed for people who are primarily interested in working for a municipal police agency in the northern and western suburbs of Chicago. Most agencies require 60+ credit hours or an associate degree as a qualification for employment. This program allows for pre-employment certification as a police officer for eligible students who attend the program’s capstone course, LEJ 298, the 440 hour basic police academy.
Transfer Option: Associate in Arts Degree
This program is designed for people who are interested in careers with agencies that require a four year degree. This would include most federal enforcement and investigative agencies, some municipal police departments, and federal and state probation departments.
