Calendly - Nellie Khalil

Nellie Khalil is a faculty member in the Biology Department and the Director of the Office of International Education at Harper College. She earned her master’s degree in Biology at Case Western Reserve University studying fragmented forested ecosystems.  She enjoys teaching her students about evolution, ecology, and in particular, the amazing hidden biology of plants.  In addition to advancing internationalization efforts at Harper through study abroad, virtual exchange, and faculty professional development she is also interested in highlighting global issues in her courses, including biodiversity decline and the spread of pathogens.
