Library Assistant CE Certificate Requirements

This certificate is comprised of one course.

Library Assistant, LCE8019

This course teaches library organization and operations and provides an overview of how to order, process, catalog, locate and circulate library materials. Includes conflict resolution and customer service. Gives insight into library automation systems and how library departments interact to meet patron needs. Concludes with a portfolio to showcase your skills.

Prerequisite: Basic keyboarding skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Internet.
