Continuing Education General Information

Harper College Continuing Education courses are offered throughout the year. A course schedule is published each semester (fall, spring and summer) and available in print and online.  For more on CE, including the Continuing Education Office hours, visit our About CE page.

Ages

Harper College CE courses are designed for those age 16 and older, with the exception of special offerings, lessons and camps for kids and teens.

Blackboard

Some CE classes utilize Blackboard, an online course management system to connect students and instructors and share packets or handouts formerly distributed in class. Students log-in to Blackboard using their MyHarper log-in information.

Books and Supply Lists

Some courses, like computer training, provide students textbooks in the classroom. When applicable, a course description notes that tuition and fees include the cost of textbooks.

All other textbooks, laboratory manuals and supplies may be purchased at the Harper Store.

Some Continuing Education classes require students to purchase supplies. Supply lists are distributed at the first class or available for download here. If the supply list for your course is currently unavailable, please check back as lists are updated regularly.
