Women's Basketball

Updated February 8h
  • The February 8th Poll has been released and Harper retains its #2 position, trailing Madison College by a single point. Individual statistical leaders from Harper include:
    • Peggie Parhas is ranked 5th in scoring, averaging 18.0 points per game
    • Noreen Davis is ranked 6th in free throw percentage at 85% (33 of 39) and Siobhan Cerney is 10h at 75% (61 of 81)
    • With 5.0 assists per game, Peggie Parhas is ranked 4th
    • Noreen Davis continues to lead in 3-point field goal percentage at 48%
  • The Lady Hawks moved their record to 16-8 overall with a solid 62-50 victory over visiting Rock Valley. Read more in the Hawk Report
  • In the latest NJCAA polling, Harper College picked up votes for the first time this season! In battling to crack the Top 10 - Division III Schools, Harper was one of 8 schools to receive votes and earn recognition for the fine play this season. View NJCAA Poll

  • Congratulations to Libby Bedwell who today was honored as the NJCAA Leaders for Life Student-Athlete of the Week (February 3, 2010). Libby is the first athlete from Harper College to earn this award! To read more, please read the latest Hawk Report 

Men's Football

  • Sophomore lineman Matt Battaglia signed a letter of intent to attend Northern Illinos University where he will continue to play football. Read more in the Hawk Report

Men's Wrestling

Updated January 21st
  • Harper's wrestling team is currently rank #1 in the nation for non-scholarship teams! The team has three meets scheduled before Midwest Districts on February 14th. You can catch the wrestlers in action at home on February 6th when we will host the Harper Open.

Men's Cross Country

Updated December 14th
  • Congratulations to Sophomore Jesus Escareno of the Men's Cross Country team on earning NJCAA Div III All-American! honors.  This is the second year that Jesus has received this recognition. You can read more in the latest Hawk Report.

 

A Successful Season for Harper Athletics

Harper Hawks are consistently recognized as All Americans by the NJCAA.  During 2008-2009, the NJCAA awarded 20 Harper athletes with an All American title. Recent achievements include:
