Harper College Financial Aid

makes education affordable for thousands of Chicago-area college students.

Our primary mission is to help you follow your dreams and afford a quality education.

We provide financial aid and scholarships to cover those costs that are beyond your own resources.

First, our low-cost tuition and high-quality courses offer the  best education value among Chicago area colleges compared to private schools and 4-year universities. In fact, you could save up to $61,000 by studying at Harper for the first two years and then transferring to a four-year college to complete your bachelor’s degree.

In addition, we award financial aid based on need, following Federal and State guidelines, plus we award scholarship funds to high-ability students and a culturally diverse student population.

Scholarships are available for high school students, returning students and adult students.

• Your academic achievements and activities may qualify you for one of Harper’s prestigious scholarships. Some of them may even help you pay your tuition after you transfer to a new institution after two years.

To see if you may qualify, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
