Budget
The value of a quality, life-long education is everlasting. Harper College strives to offer its’ students advance, diverse educational programs at competitive, affordable rates.
This estimated budget (or Cost of Attendance) is a point of reference to help you prepare financially for the 2011-2012 academic year at Harper College. It is comprised of specific education-related expenses that include tuition, fees, books, supplies, transportation, and room and board.
Remember: financial aid is available to help with your educational expenses. A similar budget, or a variance that accounts for other budget factors, is a key component used in determining your financial aid awards.
The budget is based on full-time enrollment of twelve (12) or more credit hours covering the 9-month period during the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 semesters. A prorated budget is applied for any enrollment less than full-time. A separate budget is used for the Summer 2012 term and is not included in the tables below. Use the budget that reflects your living situation, either with your parents or off campus.
