Study Abroad with Harper College

Choose between short-term and semester-long programs abroad.

Studying abroad is an exciting way to gain course credit. An educational experience abroad can help your student develop skills that will give him/her an advantage transferring from Harper College. International experience, cross-cultural communication skills, global awareness and foreign language skills are becoming increasingly important in all areas of work and study, and study abroad experience will prepare your student for future challenges!

Harper College offers short-term programs led by individual Harper faculty members as full-credit classes throughout the year. We also offer a range of more long-term study abroad opportunities through the Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs (ICISP). In addition, we provide information about available programs, resources about funding opportunities, support through the application process, pre-departure orientation, advice and assistance while overseas and post-return support.
