Apprenticeship Students Cohort

Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Apprentices receive course work and on-site training to properly manage a supply chain. Valuable skills learned include, but are not limited to:

  • Purchasing raw materials for manufacturing products
  • Storing inventory
  • Warehouse operations management
  • Shipping and transportation
  • Customer service
  • Demand planning

By the end of this program, students earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management, credentials from Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and a certificate from the Department of Labor (DOL).

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic: Industrial maintenance mechanics are a necessity for all manufacturing companies. Upon completion, students earn an AAS degree in Manufacturing Technology, National Incident Management System (NIMS) credentials, a certification from the DOL, and are eligible to sit for the German AHK/DIHK certification.

CNC Precision Machinist: Computer numerical controlled (CNC) precision machinists are growing in necessity. With specific skills in metal work, precision machining creates specific parts for various applications. Upon completion of this program, students earn an AAS degree in Manufacturing Technology, NIMS credentials and a certification from the DOL.

General Insurance: Insurance is a growth industry with numerous opportunities. Upon completion of this course of study, students earn an AAS Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Insurance and are ready for a career in the industry. In addition, the apprentices earn national insurance credentials from The Institutes and a certification from the DOL.
