WIA-Approved Training
Harper College is an approved provider of WIA certified programs. The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) is the nation's principal workforce development act.
Individuals who are unemployed, or who otherwise meet federal low income guidelines, work in a declining industry or occupation, are part of a mass layoff, or qualify as a displaced homemaker, may qualify for WIA grant funding to pay for State approved programs.

From Harper’s main campus in Palatine:
Take Algonquin Road East, past Meacham, past Route 53, and just past Golf. Turn right at Meijer Road which is the next light. Follow Meijer Road as it goes to the left of Weber Marking Systems. Continue to the end of the road to the entrance marked 723. Once inside, enter first door to your left.
From Arlington Heights Road and Algonquin Road Intersection:
Go west on Algonquin Road and stay in the left lane. Turn left at light onto Meijer Road (street light). Follow Meijer Road as it goes to the left of Weber Marking Systems. Continue to the end of the road to the entrance marked 723. Once inside, enter first door to your left.
