Harper College’s Cultural Arts Concert Series performance on April 11 features soprano Susan Lundholm and bass-baritone Timothy Filliman, both members of the Harper music department’s voice faculty.

Harper College’s latest art exhibit features the work of lens-based artist Shreepad Joglekar, an assistant professor of photography at Kansas State University. The exhibit, "Terra Vichitra," runs through April 6.
Track and Field Team 2017
Sean Stochl has accepted the position of Head Men's and Women's Basketball Coach. Coach Stochl follows in a line of successful coaches at Harper who lead both the men's and women's programs. Coach Renee Zellner, Track and Field, and Coach Jim Macnider, Cross Country, have won national championships with both the men's and women's teams under their direction. Coach Stochl played basketball and football for Harper which gives him the student athlete perspective. Sean also teaches as a member of the adjunct faculty. Sean has done everything he can to be a part of the athletics program because he understands what participation can do to help a student succeed. He has an entrepreneurial spirit in that he is always looking for ways to improve and succeed. He is both a leader and a teacher on the court. He also brings a new energy to recruiting. He is the kind of coach that athletes want to play for. Having players like MSL standout Joey Gatziolis sign on to play at Harper indicates that he was the right choice. Sean has already begun recruiting for the women's team, and will look to make in immediate improvement over the last season. Due to the remodeling of the Wellness and Sport Center, the teams will both be practicing at the Palatine Park District facility on Wood Street. They will play all their home games at the Forest View Education Center, which is the home of the Robert Morris University Eagles. Sean also serves as the assistant coach for the women's softball team. Athletes interested in playing basketball for the Hawks next year should contact Coach Stochl a email@example.com.
